I bought this model (cheaper somewhere else) but it is so amazing I had to review it somewhere! I have a quality Dyson vac that I use for regular cleaning, and I vacuumed my carpets three times before using the Bissell to pick up as much pet hair as possible. The scrubbers on the Bissell still picked up an amazing amount of ground in pet hair way below the carpet surface. The scrubbers on this vac make it way better than any professional carpet cleaning i've had in the past. It's not perfect, you do have to refill the water resivoir a lot and it uses way too much soap on the 'heavy traffic' setting so rinsing is required, but all in all I am totally blown away by the quality of this cleaner. I've only used it once, but provided it doesn't fall apart the next time I take it out, worth every penny.

Costco has this for 100 less, fyi. This pulled up months-old rust stains from my carpet, so I got my money's worth. Hand tools are a bit weak, though. Be sure to buy lots of formula because I went through a whole bottle doing just a dining and family room.

I just received my new Bissell Deep Cleaner and I had to try it out. We have a dog and two cats, and have had as many as 3 dogs at a time in our home. My carpets have been professionally cleaned in the past, but since I started my job four years ago I just haven't had the time or money to get the professionals in. Also, I have so much carpeting in my home (a ranch with a finished basement) that it seemed more economical to purchase this machine and do it myself (or have a friend help me with it). Well, it was a good call! I thank God for this machine and for the people who designed and manufactured it. I have off white carpet in my living room, which was basically turning brown at the doorway. (It was REALLY bad!) The Bissell astounded me at how easy it was to assemble, how light and easy it was to maneuver, and how incredibly clean the carpet is now! I did a high traffic clean and then a clear rinse. I can't wait to do the rest of the house! Awesome product. Just one thing could be improved - the instructions were in rather small print, and it would be really nice if they were larger.

I have had many Bissell cleaners in the past. And had good luck with them. I just bought this on yesterday to replace the model before this one. I needed to clean my carpets before guest come over this weekend. The cleaner worked for the first tank of water. But, I had to take it apart before it would work for the second tank. I continued to use it. cleaning it after each water change. By the 10th tank nothing I tried would get it to spray. I'm very disapointed in this Bissell. I will be returning it tomorrow. I will not be taking a Bissell home this time. The last three Bissell's I have owned seem to last a shorter and shorter time. The first one I owned lasted years and years. The past 3 not even one pass through my home! Don't waste your time or money on this one.

I bought this machine through Target online because it was $40 less than suggested retail, comes with 5 attachments and 3 cleaning products. I borrowed my sister's ProHeat 2X last week and that convinced me to buy a top of the line Bissell rather than any less powerful model or brand. It has more features than I thought it had, is lighter weight than the one I borrowed and is more friendly (to me) to use. While examining the roller brushes before first use, I noticed that a belt was off a roller. I was very disappointed. I followed the instructions for belt replacement and now I know how easy it will be to replace belts or rollers and clean the whole front end. Very well thought out design!

I JUST RECENTLY BOUGHT THIS MODEL - AND I HAVE TO SAY, OUT OF THE THREE OTHER STEAM CLEANERS THAT I HAVE OWNED THUS FAR - I'M TOTALLY IMPRESSED. IT'S EASY TO ASSEMBLE, LIGHTER THAN OTHER MODELS, EASY TO OPERATE, AND CLEANS CARPETS LIKE A DREAM.( NOT TO MENTION ALL THE OTHER ADDED ACCESSORIES AND CARPET SOLUTIONS THAT COME WITH)

WITH A FAMILY OF 2 DOGS, 2 KIDS AND HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS THIS MODEL WORKS FOR US! THANK YOU BISSELL FOR GETTING IT RIGHT.

I am so happy with my new Bissell ProHeat 2X! It was very easy to assemble, it is built very well, and best of all it does an excellent job cleaning. My main focus was to buy a deep cleaner for my carpet - something that needs cleaning often because I have pets - but the ProHeat 2X does so much more. It comes with many attachments so that you can clean hard surface floors and upholstery too. On top of all that it is so easy to clean! This is by far the best deep cleaner I have ever owned.

I did a lot of research before I bought this Bissell. I also looked up the one that Costco had to offer for about 199.00, not the same one. The other one is burgundy has most of the functions, just lacking the hard floor cleaner and cleanshot function. I also read the reviews for that on Costco seems that model broke down alot. I have had my Cleanshot version for about 2 months now and have cleaned everything in my entire house with it. It is amazing! The only bad thing I have to say is that it is a little heavy to be lugging around. Other than that, my carpet, area rugs, mattress and sofa have never been cleaner. It even cleaned my cream microfiber sectional!

I have two dogs who trapse in and out all day - bringing in leaves, sand, etc. We also had 6 dogs over for a recent holiday (every owner was allowed to bring their dog). The carpet looked awful. I first used my Dyson to pull hair out of the carpet and then my Bissell Pro Heat 2x. The Bissell cleaned all the nasty stuff - all the dirt ground into the carpet. I did go through almost an entire bottle of cleaner but, it's a small sacrifice to have extremely clean carpets. I bought it on sale and opened up a credit account so I paid less than the amount listed here. But, it's easily worth more. I LOVE this carpet cleaner.
